Shaky mirror fix
Thought I'd share a small success story. My interior rear view mirror had the shakes, and I remembered seeing a post somewhere about that. I found it again at Greg Nichols' site, under Interior/Rear view mirror vibration.(http://www.nichols.nu/tips.htm)
The tip, attributed to Dan Larson, is to take the mirror mount off of the base that is glued to the window, slightly bend down (toward the glass) the tabs that hold the tongue of the mirror base, put it back together, and shakes are gone! Worked good for me. Takes maybe two minutes (if you do it twice).
