No intent to offend here, but imo one of the worst things about big rims is the "Big Wheel, Little Rotor" look. To me it's a jarring visual discontinuity that makes the brakes look inadequate, whether they are or not. I like hole filled, at least visually.

Will: those are GTS brakes, the S4 would look a lot smaller in there. Seeing that I am only 1" larger than the minimum size of 17" wheels to clear the calipers, I figure I get a 'pass' on the rice rules.
From any other angle than straight on, the look doesn't say "small brakes".

So would it be possible to feed a low voltage source (say 1.5V battery) into the brake pad sensor circuit and use a test light at each junction to see where the circuit break is?
Will that damage anything in the test loop?

Be nice if the warning system tells which corner is broke. Like the damn ABS circuit.
But then I'd not want all that complexity of individual test loop for each corner.

That reminds me of another nice little detail Keith did that he mentioned in a previous post. Notice that he painted the backing plates behind the rotors silver as well. Gives the impression of larger rotors and visually helps "fill up" the insides of larger wheels.

Well done again Keith! I'm planning on painting my backing plates silver as well to help fill up my 19's.

This past weekend was the first chance I had to g through the sensors again. I checked each sensor and they are all fine. I then made little clips to attached to the pins inside of the 3-connector units at the wheels. Schematics show flow to go from instrument cluster to left front wheel to left rear wheel to right rear wheel to right front wheel back to cluster. I couldn't get ANY voltage reading at any wheel. I disconnected one sensor at a time. If anything, I should have gotten voltage at the left front...NUTHIN!

So I traced the schematics and traced wires...that I could see. I couldn't find any connections other than at the wheels. The schematics show connections (somewhere) but I just can't figure out where.
Connection T23 shows the driver left foot well location, but damn if I can find it. I even looked behind the steady pedal. What does it look like? Here is a picture of the area...


As for the connections shown on the schematics (1 ,2, 13, 14, 15, 16, 27, 28, 35), I can't find anywhere on the schematics where these connections are other than Wire Loom 121...where ever that is. T23 is actually the start/end of connection/wire loom 121 from what I can tell.

Maybe someone can direct me to the general (or exact) location of every connection.(?)

I have attached the following schematic illustrations to show ALL that I can find as far as documented info. Please help if you can as I am STILL getting the BRAKE PAD SERVICE light. I suspect my connection break is inside the car. BTW, I just had the instrument cluster out this weekend to do an LED change over on the illumination. The plugs were fastened and locked correctly to the back of the cluster, so that connection is fine.
