Default how do you correctly adjust shocks?

Guys,
sorry but I can not seem to access the archives with the search function.

Sooo, what is the correct way to adjust shocks? I have tried the down and dirty method of using the fender well to ground measurement (26.5inches in front and 24.5 in the rear). When I adjust the right rear shock by about 1/2inch (expecting it to move 3/4 inch), the left rear moves equally. Guess the sway bar is keepng the rear end moving together. Anyways, I imagine there is a way to measure correct ride height at the shock... anyone??

thanks

brian

Brian-

To correctly measure ride height, you need to measure it from the pivots on the control arms. See below for front and rear axles. Hope this helps.

I wish I could help, but I've been advised that I just don't know how to do this correctly.
