Be careful that the ends do not pull out under load. The strut tower brace receives both compressive loads and tension loads. Its under compression (being pushed together) when the car is flat and level and hits bumps, its under tension (being pulled apart) during hard cornering.
Previous experience with aluminum end caps on a carbon fiber center section is there is not good way to bond the two materials together. Hence, after a little while, the alluminum end caps pull off the ends of the carbon fiber tube.

It's Vertex Auto, the same company that has them on sale for $99.

Not going to make any suggestions as to which is best...
but I think that the strut brace is touchy to being improperly fitted... i.e. I have heard that it should be put inplace with wheel on the ground and adjusted (loosened) after the suspension has settled a bit...
I have heard of stock one being bent. is this maybe becuase they were fitted when the car was in the air and then driven?
Carl's does look very heavy duty and looks like it is strong under tension and compression...

A final comment about carbon fiber I forgot - most CF resins go limp at about 220 deg F.
Common underhood temp on a 928 on a sunny day will reach that easy. They MIGHT be made out of the expensive hi temp carbon fiber resin, but I doubt it. Its very uncommon.

It would look fantastic but it would allow your suspension to change geometery on hard cornering but then return to factory specs when no stresses are on it. Even Jim Bailey said he rarely sees a factory brace that isn't bowed and I would guess most 928s aren't driven that hard much less tracked. I would think if you can bend the carbon fiber brace by hand must have a lot of flex to it, and flex is bad in a brace. I'm hoping someone can pipe up with real world experience.

It would cost perhaps a thousand of them, I'd guess.
To be as stiff, it would need to be nearly the same size, which would weigh much more. And for what ever quantity of material you used, you could make a slightly larger tube that would be then again stiffer.
Now, you could design something that wasn't just a tube - that's the beauty of carbon fiber. It could be one piece, and would be far stronger than anything else. And would cost an order of magnitude more.
