I like it, i also considered a dark colour, but then i found a new nice grey at is similiar to the one i had.
That is truly a futuristic picture

You car would'nt happen to be tuned with a SMT6 ? (Perfect Power is residing in South-Aftica)
Cheers,
Bernhard

There was a Cayenne in that Porsche orange color with a satin clear. Looked very cool but I was wonderng how long it stays looking good because you can't polish it up.

Don't laugh. There was a flat black 911 car that got written up in one of the car magazines. The guy said waxing it was a very bad idea.
Haze haze haze.
He finally found out to use them green scrub kitchen pads and detergent to wash the beast, if I didn't remember wrong. Total opposite to a normal car wash.
But the thing looked like a beast. Real mean.
Just like the Mad Max get outta my way police car.

My paint job is so bad I don't want to spend $5,000 getting a new one and have been looking at other alternatives.
One of the local 944 guys had his car done in chalkboard. Very convenient for the track but doesn't look that good at five feet. Still, for a case of paint cans he didn't spend that much and it took his friends just a couple of hours to do the paint job. Easy to touch up, too.

It's a race car I'm painting. I'm gonna do it for the hell of it, though I would never do this to a neat street 928. The paint we're using is satin black base coat and a matt clearcoat. It will be neat, not a rattle can job.

I painted my turbo look 911 race car dayglow neon orange just to see what the purists would say
They in the next revision I did it a light grey T-bird color which really looked like primer but had gloss only because the local rules said no cars in primer ! Many asked how I got primer to shine ! Flat paint for me just screams ...bad body work, that the car is too rough for glossy paint but that is just my opinion. Lots of old beater cars here get rattle canned often after they "shave" the door handles and pull off the trim and slather on some bondo. But as I said the Ratrod fad is the latest trend.
