Anyway if I was to go with a flat or satin black finish I’d go total blackout and black out my wheels too. Total Stealth!

Bret you just rattle can it then use a razorblade to clean the windows I have considered doing a Desert Camo treatment to the old very brown 1980 since much of the brown is faded and I race mostly at Willow Springs which is desert , that way I could sneak up on the 911s.

Pierre,
I like it. Please post pics when you are finished.
Can you PM me Gavins contact info. I was discussing something with him via PM awhile ago and then he stopped coming to Rennlist again.
Thanks

Hi Pierre,
With all the work on the body mods I think the curves will be too diminished by not enough reflection off of them. It will probably look different and maybe meaner, but I personally like your car shiny black.
Accents in satin gunmetal grey would be pretty cool as long as they are not covering too much of the car. The DP Porsche cars paint schemes done only in gunmetal grey stripes might look good if modified a bit to fit on your car. Maybe with pinstripe accents outlining them too.
I also agree that your car is way too pretty to be a racer. Especially after the carnage that happened recently to Mark K.s racer and the hit John V. took on his right front quarter that I witnessed on the front straight during the 48 Hours of Sebring practice race this past Feb.
King regards and good luck with your paint job,
Constantine

The only way they could get that bodykit to fit over a shark's engine was to fit it backwards...

I think it will look tough as hell in that semi gloss. you go for it.
Of course I do go to extremes I like the flat but I was also considering Alsa's mirra chrome for my whole car. still might go that route. maybe a black chrome look. we'll see, I get bored pretty quick so (bertha) suffers for it.

That is the coolest idea I have seen in a long time. I really like that.

OK. The fat little guy in the white dress is a model compared to flat black paint - I've seen flat paint, you get it on 1956 DKW's and Volvo's. Sheesh I really don't get it lol
