This is a very nice looking '91 GT - at least from the pictures. It has no evident after-market electronics so it should have no hacked-up harnesses. The engine bay looks very clean - as if the car has always been in a sunny dry climate and never driven in the rain. (Probably the only good thing about Kaliforniah?) Heck even the intake and cam covers are looking new. No bolster wear, so the owners skinny...
It's a hefty asking price for a 64k mile '91 GT. But, I hope he gets it or something close. (Sorry all you folks that are looking for steal deals...)

That car is beautiful, the pics demonstrate the owners attention to detail and care.
Knock $2k off that price and it's ballpark, I also agree with Giovanni. White is simple, clean, and elegant... right up until you turn the key.

Or maybe the '91 GT's aren't rare at all. They're just visually imperceptable.

The white one is probably worth pretty close to the asking price. Or you can buy the black one, spend 6K on deferred items and wish you had bought the white one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...29068525QQrdZ1 "The winning bidder must also pay $200 in dealer fees in addition to the winning bid amount"
On Craiglist it surely sounded like the original owner was selling it. Still, looks like a very nice GT.

Yep, that's the car. It's not the original owner. I would call it a 1.5 owner car. The seller is a dealer and the car is still titled to the original owner. I looked at it pretty closely and drove it and only found a few insignificant, easily fixed flaws. This car has led a life of protected leisure. Records were not complete, but it had rather extensive recent maintanence documented.

Now I get to correct someone for the same mistake I made a couple of weeks ago - the headlights take H3 bulbs.
The proof is always in the pudding - even marginal cars can look perfect in pictures. You have to lay eyes on it to really know what kind of shape it's in.

H3 is a foglight bulb. Headlights in US came as H5, although they are called 9004 and HB1 in the US. H3 is a single filament bulb whereas the headlights are dual filament lo/hi.
I laid eyes and hands on this car. It's nice.
