At last. Stroker pistons......

"here" is a hyperlink to JE. Click it. JE makes solid stuff. I'm running Diamond pistons in one of my engines. They were slightly cheaper than JE for a little higher spec piston, but I had to send them back twice for more machining. Wrist pins didn't fit the first time. Second time after I could get the pins in, the rod hit the bottom of the piston. They seem to be mostly set up for American V8 stuff.

Hey ATB, good to see you are making progress, albeit slow from the sounds of things, wish you all the best with it, can't wait to see a photo of you behind the wheel!
gt37vgt who are you, you never identify yourself in your posts, why don't you introduce yourself.

Just got the latest info from my machinest.
Bob weight is 1857, not too far off Stan's.
He's adding 170 grams of Mallory to the front and 178 grams to the rear.
He had the crank counterweight marked to show exactly where the Mallory needs to go, but he can't put it all there because the counterweight doesn't have enough room. Instead he said he will load the weight near the leading edge of the counter weight with a portion of the mallory, then respin the crank to determine how much and where to put the balance of the mallory on the trailing side of the mark. Essentially by putting weight on either side of where the mallory is supposed to go, I guess it works out the same. (but with twice the labor).
I'm getting off pretty good here on price. He said only $400 for the crank, and wanted to balanced and index the flywheel for an additional $125. I thought I'd be into it for double, so I said go for it. I'm happy.
Time to start getting the block prepped for its ride to Wisconsin.

Adam,
Do you have, or can you get the balancing details?
I would be interested in the rod rotational and reciprocating weights, as well as the piston with pin weights? I am presuming our ring, bearing and pin locks are the same or significantly different.
Thanks!
