Absolute gem waiting for some lucky buyer. PHOTOS ADDED
I went to the Nord Stern PCA Concours today. Won in my class. Whoopie!
But the real deal at the Concours was a Porsche widow's offering out in the general parking lot.
1979 Porsche 928 in robin's egg blue. Almost perfect for it's age. Interior is a 10 (dark blue Pascha and leather upholstery with no rips, holes, or fade). Body is a 9, maybe 9+. Engine started up and sounded strong. Manual shift. It's an Idaho/Arizona car with 112,000 miles. One owner car with maintenance logs. . $11,000.
The son-in-law at 612-701-2910 or wcpeters@comcast.net has details.
This is the best older 928 I've ever seen. It's a real cream puff. It's condition is worth the price, IMHO.
If you want a genuine PPI, James Erdmann at Maplewood Imports (who posts here on ocassion) can easily do it for you. Tel. 651-766-231.

There is one more blemish: That wide black thing they mounted to the front bumper cover. It is not that I have anything against it per se, but it does not belong to this particular car.
Otherwise, this would be neat to have! Thank god I don't have any extra cash these days...

Why do the glove box lids warp like this on the OBs?

Nice find........of course I also am a concours freak.....& looking at the photos....(I am SO bad) I look for "deductions" and could find several, mostly in the engine...which is clearly from a nice driver, not a concours queen....
But I do like the color...very similar to Gerry's 82

The early cars had no AC button like the later ones. Of course though they still had air conditioning.
p.s. if the '79 gets $11k, that would be impressive.
