That's not a 928 part, unless it's some bracket for one of the period cellular phone setups. Is it steel or is it aluminum? Looks like cheaply chromed steel from here.

Mystery Part

Yes. I"m not sure what it is. But it looks like I lost a rubber gromet on the "red" end. Any help much appreciated as its eating at me for my not having properly labeled it.
