My wife is officially afraid of my S4
Took the Mrs. out for a night on the town in the S4 last night. She doesn't mind the exhaust note as much as I thought she would, though she does accuse me of installing the system just for the sound. I did my best to convince her of the performance gains it provides, and she still protests. So, I SHOW her the performance gains, entering 695 (Baltimore Beltway) from a 30 mph on-ramp, which I took at 60+, I nailed it i the middle of the ramp, hitting the kickdown, and we hit 90 in what felt like about 5 seconds. I know it was more then 5 seconds, but it still felt and sounded incredible. The Mrs. disagreed, though... she's not a huge fan of going crazy fast. She likes fast, but not that fast. She definitely doesn't like it that loud, either. Not a good start to the evening...
And of course, on the ride home, a pristine Mitsu 3000GT TT goes flying by me (I was going 60), probably at close to 90 mph. I caught up to it in a hurry (wife again not happy about this little pursuit), and the we ended up side by side at the front of the line at a traffic light. I look over to find a gorgeous blond driving it. OMG. Wifey is really pissed now, thinking I'm going to race 'er. And man did I want to. The set up was perfect. Nice flat launch zone, possibly the best stretch of freshly paved road in all of Baltimore laying out in front of us. The Mitsu was ready to go, too, but I had to slow roll off the line or the Mrs would have made me sell the car. The Mitsu driver smiled at me, and nodded. Hopefully I'll have the chance again soon, driving solo.

I scare my wife driving less crazy than this. I imagine even without the loud exhaust, she wouldn't have reacted much different.

My girlfriend always says "faster faster faster", however she has never been in my 928 so I do not know if she would be scared or not!

Good stuff.
My wife drives mine more aggressivly than I do, I can always tell how hard she has driven it, when she gets home, the wheels are covered in brake dust.
