I pride myself on keeping a very clean car, and I have tried everything to get wax out of plastic. Step one is always wash the car. Step two is get this stuff called "back to black" it is normally sold at more high end shops. It works wonders. If you rub it in, not only will it get wax out but it will turn faded rubber back into what it was when it was shiny and new

Back to Black

Mothers makes this stuff and its great

I have found it at Pep Boys and now the local track auto has it too.

Im thinking of trying Mothers clay bar system.

Anybody ever use it?

I have used the mothers clay bar system, and every other clay bar system on the market, and the mothers happens to be the easiest to use. Some like the one from griots leave a some clay behind that is a pain to get off.

After you clay bar the whole car the paint will feel as smooth as glass. I will use the clay bar on the hood and roof of my car once every two months and do the whole thing every 6 months or so, and the results have been very good for me.
