When are these merchant bankers going to realize that auto is the way to go.
Designed to be an auto - 5 speed was an after thought - Porsche got it right the first time.

H,
You are still young - once you mature you will realise that there is other things to do with your right hand - like drinking Starbucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

H: Really now, cruising down the highway at 100 or so....a stick wouldn't get much work? Even the dragon was done mostly in 2nd, with a few blips to third. A clutch was highly uneccessary. And I still go back to my original position of the fact that the pattern in the 928 is all screwy, and I'd have issues at the track in the 911 where one needs to concentrate on their driving, and not whether they are going to 1st or 2nd.

Each to his own, and your GTS is all the better being an auto, you lucky SOB.

Heinrich thats some garage you got there.

Do you seriously name your other cars Mothra and Gamora? Your crazy.

Which one was the flying cockroach, and what was Godzillas son's name, the one that could actually talk and sounded like a little retard?

Heinrich,
congrats !!! Wonderful car, nice color (same as my '92 gts) and nice interior. I specially like the midnight-blue and classic grey combination a lot.
Welcome to the little club of GTS owners.

Having been lucky enough to drive lot's of 928's, I can personally say with confidence, I will take a 3 spd auto over all of them.....'cept a GTS. (If you have never flogged a 3 spd, you are seriously missing out)
A 5 spd is a completely different experience than the 4 spd auto in the GTS's. One has to experience this to know what I mean.
JMHO...

H, looks like your gonna need some Starbucks gift cards for the latte's...what else are you going to do in a GTS with an auto??? Oh yeah, you need one of those cup holders that you stuff between the seat and console.

Hope to see you next week!
