Need help , Ac Condensor fan
Hey guys, car has been in garage for apporx 1 1/2 year and the brake lights are no longer working, I have checked the bulbs and they are ok... can someone go over with me where the brake light switch is, I think it is in the master cylinder, also are the brake lights fused through the fuse panel.
Thanks
Thanks

Many, I am not sure all, of the 928s have a bulb monitor system that detects bulb failures by comparison on the resistance of the rt. vs. lf. (if I understand corerctly). In my case the module was corroded and either needed to be replaced or bypassed. There are a number of posts in the archieves about a bypass that eliminates the benfit but also the head ache of this system.
It would help to know the year of your car. Prior to 1984, the 928 used a pair of pressure switches mounted on the bottom of the master cylinder. 1984 and after used a switch mounted on the brake pedal. Do you have as flashing "brake press." light in the dash? On the earlier 928s, this occurs when both pressure switches have failed. When only one fails, you simply don't have any brake lights.
try checking the connection at the master for the brake lights also check the connection for the bulb tester computer this is just above the brains on the right side of the dash I think its a 14 pin black connector also check the CE panel for corrosion

Charged the AC system last night, car is blowing cold air but condensor fan hasnt come on yet. Realy is good Fuse is good , if I disconnect it and power it fan turns on. Is there a pressure or temperatur switch somewhere that I am missing? Last year I did timing belt water pump thermostat, new raqdiator hoses, car runs with temp guage below half, is it possible it just doesnt get hot enough to kick it on? still the difference in pressure on the high side was like 220 lbs without the fan running and about 180 lbs with the fan running seems like it should run whenever the AC is turned on....
Thanks
