Happy 50th Ed, didn't know that was coming up.

We will toast you this weekend.

Thanks Sean, today is "black" Thursday, as it were. Actually, I technically have until 11:58PM PST, but who's counting?

Funny thing is, I don't feel any different-my back is as screwed up today as any other day.

But, the Montecristo #2 of an illegal country of origin I had a little earlier helped me get in the mood.

Happy Birthday Ed and welcome to the 50 and over club.

You are only as young as the women that you feel - in my case Zane said I could not touch any younger women.

It was my 15 wedding anniversay yesterday and for the first time I forgot.
Luckily Zane did as well.

Well, I must be older as the woman I feel is older.....but I better keep quiet on that.

That is too funny about the anniversary and you both forgetting.

Danny: Happy Birthday to you, as well.

Since I'm wrenching in the AM, I'll be ready to quaff a few in the afternoon. ROG, make sure you have air this time.

Gee, I won't know who to root for, Ferrari or Porsche. Since I got my Ferrari running today, I don't have to fiddle with it Sat. I expect to spend some quality time under the new OB doing my 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1' Thang.

Qualifying rained out last night, so Wednesday's results set the grid:

LMP1
Peugeot, Audi, Peugeot, Audi (All diesels, but the "great Audi" isn't at the pole!)

LMP2

Insignificant, IMO!

GT1

Aston (Privateer), Saleen, Corvette, Aston (Factory), Corvette (we finally have a race in this class....go Aston!!)

GT2

Ferrari, Porsche 911, Ferrari (this is the guy who slammed the 911 into the wall at the last turn @ Sebring!), Porsche 911 (Flying Lizards- the ONLY US team driving a P-car, and the one we ALL should root for)....all within 1.3 seconds on a 4+ minute lap!

I'll make some fresh guacamole and have some corn chips on hand with the "heavy" booze.
