I think I'll throw some chili or something in the crockpot, and I'll have tortilla chips and guac. I've got rum, Mojito stuff, coke, limes and ice as well as Scotch.

Justinwho: What do you mean? I do make some mean guacamole, but other than that no thing for it. Call in sick.

Justin how about you "show" up after work?

Ed, if you are cooking an entire feast, what else is there for your guests to bring? Good God, you do realize that when one of us hosts something, you have set the bar a little too high.

Oh, Roger, can you bring a MAF over, all my vac tests out good, temp II didn't cut it and I am stuck looking at the expensive stuff now. On that note, Ang said it is ok if I buy some new intake tubes. Do you have any in stock?

Sean,
I will bring a MAF and yes I do have three in stock.
I will bring 2 with me.
Roger

Sean: No worries: I'm not doing a feast, it's going to be all easy stuff. If anyone wants beer or anything else to drink other than what I have mentioned, then that will need to be brought over.

I will pick up some wine on the way over for other people to drink - no worries.

I've been waiting for the wife to get home. I let her take the 928 as she goes to get all pretty. I forgot that it takes her 3 hours to get her nails done, waxing and who knows what else....Thought she would be home by now.

Going to stop at the beer store, anything wanted?

This turned out to be an eventful day.

I was 2 hours late but more showed up after me. Justin even showed up, after everyone left so we hung out in Ed's garage until 10 tonight. Justin insists that he is not driving his car because his interior is being redone. We think he keeps borrowing his dads car and showing up with it once in a while.

When I got there Rog's GTS was up on blocks and he and Doc were under there with wrenches and dirty hands. Tech session it was. Apparently as Roger parked his car in the street, the fuel pumps gave out so off to the shop he went and came back with a trunk full of goodies in Danni's 740i. (that's a BMW). Ed, Dan, Brad, John and I got to supervise and give advice on changing out 2 pumps and a filter. Ran like a champ when it was done.

Rog did me a huge favor and brought over some new intake tubes and a Temp II for me to install so I did. We (Danni) also took out my MAF to get it cleaned to see if my idle surging would be fixed. Thanks man, we are even now.

Ed cooked up some awesome Frito Pies (Texas style) and other munchies and even provided some good cigars. We sat around and watched the 24 hours of LM on the garage tube and had a good time.

Thanks Ed for hosting another gathering. I got the next one and it will be my turn, I mean Ang's turn, to cook up some good eats.

Ed,
Another great GTG at the Hughes Ranch - good food and excellent BS.
What a great crowd of people.
Ed makes a mean MOHEEEEETO and chili.

Sean,
Glad to help out.

All,
Thanks for the help with the "Double Heart" transplant.

Justin,
We did not all leave because of you - honest 8>)

Yeeha! It was fun, and great to see you all. And, it was a pleasure meeting the new guy, Justinwho. After all of the bad things I've heard about him, I wasn't sure how he'd be, but he's fun to have around.

Just a thought. Did anybody check the identification of the guy who showed up as Justinwho? How would we really know who he really was?
Thanks Ed for the great hospitality.
Thanks Doc for the head unit relay fix!
