Bob it would look something like this minus my flights from Dutch to Anchorage and Anchorage to Seattle:
With just the travel distance it would log 6713.9 miles onto my 928, which doesn't account for fun drives at each stop.

You bring tears to my eyes - laughing! I love your spirit, man!
My adventurous nature doesn't hold a candle to you if you pull this one off!!!
But seriously -- what better 21st birthday gift for our 86.5's... yup -- end of this month they can 'legally' have ethanol...
For THAT trip -- to come to Tex-A$$, I say YOU set the dates!
Life is short, and, as someone recently reminded me -- 'this ain't no practice lap!'

So unless Third Coast and Sharktoberfest are close together, I'll have to flip a coin and pick one or the other, and the extra trip to Florida would have to wait for another time.

If we do MotorSport Ranch it will be on a Friday, we can still do a day road trip on Saturday (I know some great Palo Pinto routes) with the show and shine on Sunday. We're just waiting on a confirmation of the Friday track day.

How about October 26-28th???
Just offering options... but I agree with ya Justin!

Justin, what's the big deal? The Cobalt doesn't do well on the track?
We can find plenty of drives in the N. Texas area, plenty of FM roads for day trips...
BTW, last time I looked, MSR wasn't a circle!

This was discussed at the last "Third Coast" and the offer of track time at MSR was offered as a possibility and the general consensus was "yes please".
As Jim says we can set up the "travel" part of Third Coast with a looooong road trip. Maybe to another hotel and a show and shine on the Sunday.
We will make decisions at the GTG on July 7th so "be there or be square".

Shane, Find an illegal immigrant diesel system adept and pay him two bucks over the new
Federal Minimum Wage to cover you.
Hell if anything goes wrong ...even I know where to catch fresh Lobster's(crabs) in Texas. We just baste them in the fabled Blue Ointment down heah'.
Besides you need a platter loaded with Chicken Fried Steak smothered in Pioneer gravy and some salted down fries. Truely a saturated lipid shock to the circulatory system and tastes good too.
Marble Falls is, uniquely, Texas small town Courthouse Square and layed back. Though not typical of Texas weather/topography it is a little gem.
If you make it, what are you driving?
I'm hoping to get Zack's White 81' back together so Midland can present 2 OB's -fenders/hood/shroud- and Zack's miserly attitude are the holdbacks.
Would be good to meet you.
In other news....
Hey! Where did the Arkansas branch go?
If you are lurking, check out page 121 of the July issue of Automobile. Yeah, the Audi A8 is a clean machine but check out that road! And the article is touting a mere 11 mile section of road, you KNOW we've had better!
Brings back memories of the Springs...whada' ya say?
'SHARKANSAS' one more time before the Reaper get's us or our sHARKs......
