The car was offered for sale locally here in DFW and a customer/friend of mine in Austin contacted me to do a PPI on it. We looked at the car together and found a few issues that did not cut it for my friend so he passed on it. I now have the car on the understanding that he gets first dibs when I have restored her and sell her.
She is not perfect and has a cracked dash, some shrinking of the leather at the lower seat cushions. She spent a period of time in the sun that caused the above along with the rotting of the rear cargo cover. Apart from that the interior is as new.
The engine runs but will need a complete "going over".
Gearbox linkage has a problem that I have not had time to look at yet. You have to move the stick way over to the left to get 1st or reverse. Once you find them there are no issues with the gearbox.
Hole in the exhaust somewhere.
PO is in the apparell market and has plenty of toys. Did not want the car to go unused any further.
Paint is a 9.5 and the interior apart from the dash a 9.5.
She has a Paul Champagne dash in her future.
