Missed you Wayne... can't have an outing without Wayne and Wayne. Hope to see you soon, or we'll have to come pick you up.

Many thanks to Glenn M., Jeff & his friend for fixing my wiper linkage. I was ready to shoot home Sat. noon to avoid driving home in two days of rain. Most people looked at the problem and said
Rainex!! "Chief Officer Glenn" said lets just fix it, and with the help of Jeff & his buddy, a very big hammer and a rock, they fixed it! Almost 16 hrs in the rain no problems at all. I am Very gratefull
for these guys. ....Rick

So now I sit at my home in Fort Lauderdale, bored on a Tuesday night. The significant other can't come up with anything..but suddenly SITM2007 comes into view!

Well, the local developer turned out to be as wavy as the water beneath my floor. Or as watery as you want it to get, if you want to buy the house; ?

I went home and cleaned the leather on my S2...

Dave, Jeannie, and all the others who organized and helped with SITM,
THANK YOU! Another great year with great people.

Rick,
I'm glad the wippers work out! It was my pleasure to help out, that's what it is about.

Wayne, Don T., Mike H., Beerfish, Matt,
We missed you! Was not the same without you but we made do. Next year!

I got to see some old friends and make new ones. Got to do some great driving, eat great food, and talk 928's!

For those who have never been, you don't know what you are missing!

Cheers,
Glenn

Got to hang with Dave Atherton at SITM. How else would I get a face to face with those Wisconsin, Florida, Texan, Seattle, Las Vegas and now Aussie boys.
Got 829 wrenching tips from Dave A from Australia via Dubai. Spoke with the H-man himself. Tony and his Vegas crew made a strong showing.
Oh, and there were some cool cars there too.

After a nice post SITM dinner conversation, I wish I had made 'em "I'm with danglerb" T-shirt for the event.
How did Normy get to Tuesday ahead of the rest of us?

BTW..Thanks for the gas. I put 4 gallons of gas in our rental for the entire trip.
Im sure DR mentioned it, but we drained the old gas out of your car, topped a few gallons in Wallys, then put the rest and probaly the worse of it in the rental

Thanks Dave, Jeanie and everyone that showed up at SITM. My first and not last. Great place, people and cars. The drive to and from SITM from Texas with the crew was the best driving experience. The solo run of The Dragon was frosting on the cake. See you all here, Gerry

My thanks as well for a great and fun event!

It was a great drive to, there, and back with very respectable average speeds (until I had to spend two hours on the phone at the end and slow down!) with the cars running better and better and finishing up in the 19+ mpg vicinity!

Guys-

Had a terrific time driving and hanging with all you shark lovers at my first SITM. Really enjoyed driving the twisties post Dragon with AO, Sean (fabio) and Murf and Z. Now, of course, I HAVE to have some boost... thanks Murphy!oh yeah, and new shocks since I blew mine out like a... well... nevermind.
Everyone was so friendly and willing to lend a hand (sniffle, sniffle), it makes me all warm and gushy inside. What a swell bunch of car nuts you all are! Won't forget the quality, mountain man breakfasts and bad coffee (you Vegas boys are all right!) but Bill, skip the gourmet eggs benny next time! It was great to meet the well represented Dallas crew and the legendary Roger Tyson.

And AJ, just eat yer wheaties!

Thanks again to our gracious hosts as well. Hope i see all of you next year again! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

P.S. man are these cars fun to drive hard!!
