Okay, so you all know of my ineptitude involving anything mechanical, so again I look to the boards for advice.

Would it be possible to mount a set of 17" 996 C4 rims similar to the ones on the auction I'll post below, on a '78 928 without drastic modification? I'm not even sure if the offsets would work out, but do you think it possible to find a set that would properly fit without going to the lengths that Greg did some time back? I'm thinking this is more of a pipe dream than a viable possibility, but if it worked, it would be a bit more cost effective solution than the Kinesis Supercups I had been looking at for awhile...
