Wasn't a speeding ticket even with the plentiful police company on the roads.
The Damned Odo died. Was wondering why it kept reading the same mileage for 10 minutes.
Even reset trip computer (a button I try not to use) to see if it frees up the Odo. Nope.
Was trying to figure out when to get gas so now I'll have to estimate by the driving time. 88 S4's got the mechanical display along with the ever so vague gas gauge.

Feels like the plastic VDO (Very Dainty Odometer) gear is slipping as the trip readout tries to advance to 001 but never makes it after reset.

Guess I'll be indulging in that 928 Rite of Passage of tearing into the pod.
Or was fixing a broken outside door release the Rite of Passage.

And no, I drove nice and sane through VA and parts of the Blue Ridge so any official harassment is not of my doing.

I'm slow. At least I now have a fighting chance of making it.
