Thumbs up Got my 1st Porsche & a note of thanks to DR, WallyP, & N. Point Foreign Auto

Well, I finished up the deal on my "new" 928. It is an '85 Euro 5speed in excellent condition. The thing is so pristine it's like a time warp back to the 80's when you sit in it. I hope to make it up to the sharks in the mountains drive next month if I can tackle all the little maintenance issues first. I want to change all the fluids, replace any other worn items, & replace the rear rotors before I drive it much more. So, thanks again to those who helped me make my decision including those who provide this board!

"time warp back to the 80's". Sounds like my wardrobe!

Anyway, good luck on your new car!

Glad Joel was able to help you out with the 85 Euro. He called me about it while you had it there for the PPI. He even had the nerve to say it was even nicer than my 85 Euro !!!

Great find, take good care of it and please try to bring it up to our Sharks in the mountains party so I can see it for myself.

Thanks guys.
DR, I was right there while you 2 were talking . Just kidding, it is all original & looks very nice cosmetically, but it certainly needs quite a few upgrades to be in the same league mechanically as yours.
As for the shark/mountain thing, I'd like to come up to the gathering if I get it up to par maintenance wise. Maybe if I get my list together tonight, I'll give you a call tomorrow to place an order & you can make sure I'm getting the right stuff & don't leave anything out?? --Jamie
