Default '89 GT, 30K miles, $20K

I know nothing about this, and don't even really know where it is, but the miles and price seem like it might be worth a look for somebody near by:

I was wondering how long it would take for this question to pop up.

I'll take this one...

...because he was using Rennlist to advertise his business (he sells cars) without paying for a sponsor fee.

Todd was after finder fees for his finds (one or two may have slipped by for good faith advertising). Fabric is simply posting a car he's found not expecting any finders FEE for doing so.

I see nothing wrong with ENTHUSIASTS posting their finds but I see everything wrong with a business advertise their services and stealing advertising time without paying for it.

Perhaps we need a STICKY on top where we post finds. Not personal car adds but ones Rennlisters find as they grove through their day.

Personally, I'm very happy for that "issue" finally being banned.

Now...lets talk more importing talk...how's that car doing Abby!!!

Precisely. If it were near me, I'd go look at it and report back, I'm hoping somebody does the same for this one.

Interesting, it's listed at 746 miles from my zip, which is definitely *not* in Irvine.

I see it slightly different but no big deal.. however the drama here gets more comical by the day

The Turbo is doing well and a 928 track car looks like it is my very near future too! A few fine tuning things going on with the Turbo before we head to the dyno and the track.

May not be a GT...get the vin to make sure.....Easy mistake to call a 895sp a GT...and look at Chuck Z's site....most of the 89 GT's are listed there already..

Later,

Here's a good looking '89 5-speed S4 in Michigan, if anyone is interested.

No affiliation, no finder's fee, yadda yadda yadda.

I think that this one was one Todd had mentioned over a year ago. It was hit in the front and repainted. Maybe do a search.

$20K for a WHITE 89, 5-spd?? I don't think so. My .02.

apologies to those who like white, $15K tops. But YMMV, get PPI, etc, etc.

I just told my wife I must be getting old, I'm starting to like the 928 in white.

No offense to you old fogeys with white cars.
