I feel sick and relieved at the same time - just missed an '84 Euro

Geez I thought I had a great deal!;)
In april I got my 83 928 for $1800. Drove it 5 hrs home. But you got me, your interior is in much nicer shape and and it dosen't look like the PO has screwed it up badly either! Best of luck with it...Now all you have left is the little things these all seem to need. But if your into it....even the searches and work can be a good adventure.....I've already met with great people here and been sucking all the info that they willing dispense!
ENJOY!!!
ENJOY!!!
I had a heck of a time getting in touch with the former owner of my 928. I emailed him almost a dozen times about the 928s euro spec he had on craigslist. He finally called back 2 days later and told me I would be # 3 on the list to look at it. The first 2 poeple had no idea what they were looking @ or didn't have the $1,400 he was asking. I ran to the bank and gave him $250 to hold it! Told him I would go to the bank and get the rest the next day!
here is a pic of what $1,400 got me off craigs List!

the car came with new vinyl door panels, new seats, new swaybar drop links, a new sway bar, new sway bar bushings and clamps, almost new dunlop tires, .......... I ordered a new timing belt, waterpump, engine harnes.... The car only has 71k miles and had been in storage for over a decade so I want to do things right.
