Post 78-84 ignition control unit

Hey everyone, I am in need of testing my ignition control unit on my 79. My car wont start and I think I have tracked it down to the ignition control unit.

Does anyone have a spare that I could borrow to test my car or does anyone live in the Ventura CA. area that has a 78-84 that I could simply plug my box into their car and see if it runs or not. As far as I have been told you cant do any damage to the other vehicle if the box I do have is bad.

I would be willing to come to you to do the test. You really dont have to remove anything to get to the box and unplug yours and plug mine in. Then if the car starts I know its not the box and I dont have to spend 400 bucks for a new one or even 150 for a used one from 928 international.

Any help would much be appreciated.

Thanks

Curt..

Curt,
You can mail me the unit and I'll test it in my 80 EuroS if you can't find anyone locally.
Shouldn't cost more than $10.00 round trip to ship to NJ.

Curt,

My 78 Euro is under about 20" of snow. Supposed to melt off by this weekend. If you can wait til then, I'll pull and send it. Contact me at dpw928@prodigy.net .

Curt -

If I get my exhaust on my 81, I could drive up to you from Sandi and you could borrow one mine. I have one from a 79 that is on the car, one from the 81 that may or may not work ( Iwill test), and a permatune that I wanted to try out anyway.

Give me an email on PM
