Hey Snowy-

Thanks for posting the pics.

For the record...if you look closely past Teri's (ahem...) backside - you'll get a dismal glimpse of yours truly.

Thumbs down

Snow,
Official backdoor flame.
I'll bring the Canon T-70 next time.
I'll try to fix these up on Photo Draw 2.
It was fun though.

Snow and Jay,

Sorry the pictures darkened up when I reduced the size. I didn't notice until after I loaded them. BTW Jay, with the other subject matter, I doubt if you would have been noticed anyway. 8^)

OT totally

John-
Are you and I the only ones in the world with a T-70? Finally, I can come out of the closet (but not on the hood). Do you know of a shop that can work on the lense locking ring?

Talking

Don,
I was using a generic 2x Doubler and while I didn't mess up the lens lock ring per se it warped enough to put a light pressure on the titanium shutter... no scratches but talk about your BLUR.
I sent mine out thru a local shop and it went to New York City - get the Pace and some rope - of all places. Cost was $116.00 inclu. tax & insurance. Might want to check the web, or some Photography Magazines for options as that price was from 3 years ago. Keep in mind if the LED stuff goes it is strictly a paper weight, so don't leave it in the 928 -tied it in- on a hot day or play soccer with it.
To me it was the 928 of the Canon line.
And I guess I'll lug it with me to all future shark gatherings. They put your film on Digi disc's on request nowadays might try that for posting.

Thanks John-
I left mine under a boat of which I was taking survey photos, completely forgot about until I went back a couple of weeks later and it was sitting under the rudder (dry dock). Had been rained on quite hard in the only rainstorm in two years and sitting unprotected in 120+ temp & humidity (Jeddah) and all it had was grit in the switch (and focus, and...) but no permanent LED/electronic damage- that was not the cause of the ring loosening. I was amazed, and still grateful for the double escape. Have lost the photogs, though.
