Vehicle theft recovery systems any advice?
After reading Rich in Fla's post of having his car stolen, A purchase of Lo-Jack and a .357 sounds pretty good right now.
Being in a small rural community in Maryland, I'm not sure Lo-Jack has coverage here.
I have seen some companies which use GPS and Cellular tracking for asset control as in rental equipment, etc. I like the feature of moving the unit form car to car, setting up a virtual fence, and also the feature of being able to bring up the vehicle's location on the web.
Has anyone had experience with either Lo-Jack, or more important, the other technology I mentioned above?
Last resort may be to let a rabid German Shephard live in the back of the shark.
Thanks in advance,
Greg
