There was a 93 model that went through Barrett-Jackson in AZ a few years ago. The car was advertised in NC and had NC plates on it at the auction. It was this car:cobalt 93 GTS

I love the exterior and 5 speed. I would like the gray better with a black dash or just black interior. I have seen cobalt with gray interiors on other cars and I would never trade my black interior for the gray interior on my turbo. I have added blue seat belts and the full Exclusive carbon fiber dash and the car never fails to draw tons of attention and compliments. Cobalt stands out better with a darker interior. There are only 2 94 turbos in cobalt the other has gray interior. I am assuming there aren't any other US cobalt GTS's but we may never know. For some reason Cobalt was not a big seller back in the 90's yet in the UK and other parts of the world it was quite popular.
This is the same car that sold on BJ. I found these same pictures a week or so after the auction and I was so pissed when I learned I missed out on this car.

Actually, the flash makes this cobalt blue interior look a lot brighter than it is. Cobalt blue interiors are not as sublte as the earlier dark blue ones, but they are not in any way "loud", either.
The trouble with these colors is that if they are a mix of leather and vinyl, the two materials age differently, and you get differences in color. (the leather usually fading in color intensity). You see this most on burgundy interiors, but the cobalt blue is also a candidate.
The attached was also taken with a flash, which brings out the nuances of color between different pieces. This is a minimally optioned European GTS with 15k miles on it. Since the picture was taken it was probably driven another 3k or so... Will see it again in a month...

Todd didnt post a price but on Mobile.de its listeed for 18,000 Euro, Which is about $23,500. Now imprting it is going to take 6 months and $10-15K additional, but for the right car it could be worth it. I would hold out for a 5 speed lower mile example personally. There is a nice amazon green GTS there as well

Cobalt blue with a black interior? Well, unfortunately it's not a 5 speed, but I should have included the other pics of that cobalt blue w/rear flares and yes, a black interior above. Here are all the pics, including that black leather interior:
