Default Low Dust Brake Pads - GTS Fronts?

Time for some new pads and would like to install something that produces less dust than OEM.

Last I checked there weren't many options for the GTS.

Any suggestions?

Mintex is the only option to stock that I know of in a non race pad. Hopefully someone can chime in about there experience with them dusting.

Do you stock them, Mark?

If I recall, last time I had GB do brakes on my car you only had OEM pads.

Just and FYI... I've been running the Mintex pads and while they may be considered low dust... they still dust up pretty darn good. I think it must be a relative comparison.

Not on the shelf but I can have them in a few hours if need be.

Hey Ya' moderator .... remember this ? It gives you the front p/n, and the rear is the normal S4 front IIRC.
I found them to be very low dust on the S4 .... but some have not had this good result: let us know how they work out, for they are in the plan for the Big Reds on the C4S.

OK on the Hawks.

Can I get 'em from you, Rog?

Need a front set.

You can get the Hawks from tirerack if no one else can get them. The material is listed as composite. I'm not sure what that means. If you want absolutely minimal dusting get some ceramic pads. Only problem with them is they can be extremely hard on rotors.

Thats good to know about their wear on the rotors. Anyone with experience with the ceramic pads on their 928? Hawk makes a front pad in ceramic for 928s.

OK on Tire Rack.

I was hoping to order them from a source that also carries the brake pad sensors.

I'll try sending Rog a PM.

Randy...........I have Mintex Street in my car. While they claim to be 'less dust' my wheels sure get dirty fast............perhaps the driving style.

.........and the squeel despite chamferring them and replacing the OEM anti-squeelers.

To stop squealing apply liberal amounts of disc brake quite to the back of the pads. It's sticky and messy but it works very well.
