I found Mintex dust a little less than OEMs. And BTW, a GTS takes same front pads as 993 TT, so some suppliers or catalogs that don't show a fitment actually have one, they just may not list it for 928 since so few GTS's in the world ...

Randy, I've had good results with Repco Metal-Masters pads for street and DE driving. Very little dust, and have been easy on the rotors. I believe I got mine from Mark at 928 Int'l...

No,
The calipers are Ferrari F40 and use a similar pad to the S4.

Sounds like I can get Hawks from 928 Specialists.

I'll give 'em a call in the morning.

Thanks for all the help!

I placed my order with 928 Specialists for a set of Hawke Street pads, then got a call back from Jeannie saying they are back-ordered at least 2 weeks.

Any other suggested sources for them?

I have the mintex in my GTS and the texstar factory pads in both my C2 and Turbo. All using big reds/blacks. To be honest I found the factory pads stopped better and created no more dust than the mintex.

I just installed a set of these on my GT and I am very happy with the bite they give. I was running Mintex Streets and they always felt soft to me, but not these. They grab quite nicely.

The down-side is that they do squeak a bit under light braking, but I love the stopping power.

Thanks for the offer, but 928 Specialists sells the front set for $102.

Be careful... we're talking GT vs. GTS sizes...
