82 5 speed hot idle problem
Hi everyone, havn't had a problem in quite a while but today coming off an exit ramp, at the bottom, engine died and it took three tries to fire it up. Nursed it home, same thing in my garage, could not keep an idle, and then very diffucult to restart, but a strong smell of fuel. Thanks for any help!

is the fuel smell coming from under the hood or the exhaust, I would look under the hood first have a fire extinguisher handy
