odd start than stall yesterday while car was parked on an uphill incline
i think the title of this topic says it all. Yesterday My family went out to eat, when we came back the car started and then when we put it in gear the idle dropped below 600 and then the car struggled to retain idle than stalled out. Started back up again in park, fine for that time then it stalled out again when we were on a more level piece of ground but stalled again in drive. Than after the final start, it was fine, idle was low but it came right back up after car went up to about 3000 rpm. Is this a fuel pump check valve if i'm not mistaken????

Doesn't really sound like a fuel pump check valve. Sounds more like a problem with the idle stabilizer - if I am interpreting you post correctly.

Wally, the car is also hard to start when warm too. It takes like 2 cranks and ya have to tap the gas pedal to get it started while the engine is still warm. Could this all be related?
