Carelli's were made with the "flat" door type. The black and white sketch that Nicole posted was a Carelli rendering. I LOVE those oversized dish wheels! Too bad it was fiction. They drew them just a bit larger than normal and lowered the car. Great sketch!
To this day, I hate that stupid boat looking white convertible.

The "boat style" convertible - does anybody remember where it was from? Greece, maybe? It was on ebay at some point; that's where these pictures come from.

What's up with the rear quarter window on the S4 parked next to the dark green cabrio shark?

Yeah, well.... Some of us just like convertables and 928s. I guess in pa. there is not that much call for convertables. Seriously, the combo is not as good as it could be. I guess that means I should give up on 928s and buy a 993? Naw.

Wow, that white convert at the top of Nicole's post looks like a ride even Stevie Wonder might refuse to be seen in. People on 'ludes should not drive... nor should they cut the tops off of Sharks. ;-)

The problem is...
I think a downside of the convertible 928s is that they too much resemble the 968 convertible....only with a less rigid body but still very unique. In any 928 gathering, you KNOW that the topless 928 would get a lot of attention. Like the Koenig body would.
In my 928 model collection, I think I have a 1/24 Koenig. I need to check it against the Koenig fotos.

Here are a few photo's of cars I think have potential to look better. Older shots of course, but wheels would change their personality. The last one is a buddy of mine who posted a picture of his converted S4 with GTS flares is now further converted to a full on...CONVERTIBLE. (a bit crude in rendering, I think it looks mean though!)
