Was 'invited' to acompany my wife to Wal-Mart this aft. Living in the sticks as we do this is not an every day occurence so I took the opportunity to cruise down the car isle.
I picked up the new ice polish by Turtle Wax but before I go an apply it whats the opinion out there on our 928s?
TIA.......

I like it. It goes on clear and has an oily consistancy that makes it easy to apply very evenly. If you accidentally get onto the rubber bits it does not leave any white residue just as Turtle Wax claims. The product does a nice job but I think the Meguiar's NXT I've been using lately produces a more brilliant shine.

Let's see some pics! I'm all about some "newly waxed 928" candid shots! I've just been using Caranauba-Wax by Mother's and some Meguiar's liquid wax.

I have also found that it works great for protecting the shine on my Fikse wheels. I apply it to the clearcoated centers and polished rim section after a good working with the Billet Aluminum polish. It helps keep the brake dust and road grime from adhereing and makes a labor intensive set of wheels less so. I like using it on my wheels because it won't leave that white residue if i fail to get it out of all of the right angle crevices that usually have to be swept with Q-tips on the Fikse Fm10's.

isn't that the stuff that promises to be a 'liquid clay-bar' ?
stay away from it. that stuff is like steel polish, your wife uses to make the sink shiney.
it is super abrasive. use a real claybar

They sent me a sample of it at work before they launched it along with a bottle of detailer. I liked the detailer but hated the wax. I could not get it off my 928. I had to use Mothers polish and then rewax with mothers wax to get rid of it. It went straight into the trash. Good thing we don't write reviews on products.

OK, I'll bite. Right after a few coats of Z-5, and Z-2. Linen isn't really the best color to show off the results, it's amazing what it can do w/ dark colors, particularly swirl/scratches.
