Default How to Replace 928 Rear AC Vent?

I need to replace my rear AC vent as one of the ducts has lost several of its louvers. Any tips on how to best remove the vent assembly without tearing things up?

slowly and carefully. I cannot remember specifically, but I believe there are spring clips that hole the vent louver set in place. It was a long time ago, so my memory faile me. When I removed mine, I was pleased to find the misplaced louver pieces sitting on the ac unit. With patience and care, I was able to replace them all and reinstall the louver unit.

I believe mine came disloged because something hit them, a rear passenger, or some cargo. goos luck.

There are two phillips head screws at the very back of the vent assembly. Take out the rear carpet and look from the very back of the car. Remove the screws and lift up the back of the vents. the front is held by a couple of clips that will release the whole assembly.
