Is anyone else bringing kids? I have a babysitter for my 1 year old, but was planning on bringing the 5 year old. If no other kids will be there I can make other arrangements.

I had a list of things to do to the shark BEFORE Hell, but as usual, I ran out of time. I now have a working radio, and should have my new hoodliner installed by then though. My car will be the "work in progress" car, not the show car that I know many of you have.

I'll be there with our 4 boys (9, 6.5, 5 and 20 mos). They'll be leaving with my wife early afternoon.

I've convinced my wife that if she comes she has to drive separately and take the kids back with her.

... I just don't knwo if she's coming.

I know what you mean. Now that I'm done fixing it, it's time to fix it. Window guides, A/C, radio, etc. It's never done

It's a liberating feeling to mentally accept that it's never, ever done.

I don't feel liberated. I feel resigned.

LOL...but it's your job to work on these cars now. I suspect you feel similar to a gynocologist with an amorous wife.

From the first page, post #1:

"Children invited (we have 3 boys so you better bring your kids). We have a play structure, horseshoes, badminton, croquet, and all the old video games they can handle. I put the boat in the water yesterday, so tubing/water skiing may be on the agenda too."

You guys better bring your better half and your kids (along with swim suits). I don't want to play with my boys all day ... need your help to keep them occupied (bring your kids).

All 928s, like kids, are works in progress at this point.

My two boys will not be coming, but I've never turned down a whiffle ball game.

To all the local guy going to Hell I need help to have my car ruuning by Saturday I drove it for the first time in 3 1/2 years last night and I have a no start condition after it gets hot,it always started in the garage but when I ran up to get gas in it it wodn't start at the gas station when I went to leave, I got it running and it seemed to be starving for fuel but never driving the car before I don't really know how it's supposed to run. Any Ideas? Can anybody spare some time this week to swing by and try to help me? Thanks Matt

Matt-
First off, I'd probably start a different thread so you get more input. But the first thing I would suspect would be the fuel pump relay. You can either swap the horn relay with it or make a jumper to bridge the 30 and 87 points of the socket (the relay should tell you which is 30 and which is 87).

Just be careful if you use a jumper as the fuel pump will run constantly.

Let us know if that helps.
