The LH controls the fuel cutoff at 6600 rpm.

So what is happening is the fuel is getting cut off ?? How do I adjust the tranny cable to have the car shift sooner?

Check to make sure you have vacuum at the modulator. Does it shift properly when not getting on it ?

Yes it shifts fine all the time, it is just when I stomp on it and run it to the Red line that is cuts out. I do have the vacume line disconected at the brake booster because of a problem inside the dash that has to do with the temp actuater. I looked around in the archive for this and did not fined anything, not sure what to use for searching. Where is the Vacume modulator for the shifting?

Connect the vacuum back to the modulator Did this start after you disconnected the line at booster ? When I suggested that in your other thread it was only to diagnose the noise. You should have disconnected one hose only and capped the supply fitting.

What gear are you in when this happens ? It is normal on highway in second gear to hit fuel cut if you hold out to long.

I am thinking it is happening in 2nd gear. When I am following someone doing 50 and stomp on it it drops to 2nd and as I am going around them I hit the fuel cut out. I must be holding on to long and I tried lifting off a little to let it shift and it shifted. I would think I would not need to let off that it should shift all on it's own. I also did a stomp from a stop light and got up to around 60 or so and needed to lift a little to stop from going into the red line and she shifted fine. Is all of this normal with hitting the fuel cut off?? Tomorrow I am going to dig into the dash and find the actuator and cap off the vacume line till I can get the new part ordered. I will then try again and see if I am getting into the fuel cut off.

No need to dig in dash. Disconnect the black vacuum hose at splitter by booster and cap splitter. Find and fix leak inside car. If this happens automatically and not a manual downshift then there is a problem.

At what rpm is it cutting out? If the problem is the LH rev limiter (6500rpm IIRC) then this can be easilly programmed to a higher value with a SharkTuner. If you are running a standard chip I can supply a new chip with whatever rpm limit you feel safe with.

Hi John

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

You can ? Is it possible to have 6800 or 7000 and is it a one or 2 chip change ?

Also as I have "Promax" chips in mine can "they" have the rev limit raised to 6800 or 7000 if I sent them to you ?

Any idea on cost ???

All the best Brett

7620 or 6900 or 7080 or 7280.......

This would be a modified standard S2 LH EPROM. I doubt you would notice ant change in peformance, the main gains come from the EZF chip.

Cost ? If you swap the chip yourself 50GBP
