Default Any final advise?

I just completed the manifold and rocker covers enhansements. I changed everything this forum advised must be changed (hoses, clamps, seals, knock sensors and then some). I've used ever bit of advise provided to put it all back together. I paid special attention to the hose connections just below the MAF to ensure proper vacuum. I placed blue paper towels from Home Depot under all the fuel line connections that were removed (easier to spot a leak). Finally I fired the fuel pump and pressurized the fuel system to 60 psi. No immediate wetness or leaks were observed. This morning the guage was still reading 40 psi. Can I assume then that I should have no fuel leaks when I start the car? Finally, any last advise or checks before I make the first start? Honestly, I am terrified.

A leak too small to make a noticeable fire would drop the fuel pressure to zero in just a few minutes.

If you are holding 40 psi overnight, you don't appear to have any leaks...

Fire it up and enjoy it!

(That being said, it might make you feel a lot more comfortable to have a good fire extinguisher handy when you do fire it up. A very Good Thing to have handy in the garage in any case.)

Congratulations on completing one of those jobs that almost all of us need to do!

wow, 40 psi overnight is very good.

My car goes to zero within an hour of shutdown with no leaks. My check valve must be weak.

You should be good to go.

Thank you all. It's almost midnight in Ontario, Canada. I will purchase Halon fire extinguisher tomorrow and fire her up during daylight hours.
