Anyone have a fitting off a fuel line they can spare?

Yup, I just need the fitting.
The fuel line from the rear to front (928.356.029.01) of my '78 is broken.
The fitting that attaches to the fuel hose coming from the fuel filter won't come out of the hose. It broke off the fuel line just fine. I can't even break it loose with a pipe wrench and vise.
I'm having a local place make a new line for me - if I can find a damn fitting to go on it. They'll make me one for $30.
A new line from Porsche is $440. From 928 Specialists, it's still $360. Making a new one for a twelfth the cost is the way to go - if I can find a replacement fitting.

If I hadn't left it down at the shop for them to play with, I'd post a photo of it. I'll do so tomorrow, if necessary.
Thanks anyway, H-man.

Kary,
I have bits and pieces lying around from my old 80 Euro up at my lakehouse. I'm going up there tonight to try and find my tent for a Scout camping trip this weekend, so I'll be able to look around and see if I still have mine. What material is it made of - brass or plastic?

Coincidentally, they are in the process of fabricating the same line for my '78 right now. My car uses 928-356-029-03, which omits the rubber hose entirely and connects the steel line directly to the outlet of the fuel filter. Apparantly Porsche could not decide which of their 3 fuel line designs to use that year, so they used all of them.
It looks like Classic Tube are located only about 60 miles from you (?). You could probably send them the hose with the stuck flare nut, so that they can identify the flare nut and find you a new one.
