Default Finnally some shark pics!!!!

I hope these turn out! I'm still trying to catch up on all the missed maintenance so just ignore the fact that it needs a hand glaze and good wax, bad! Took me 2 weeks longer than planned to get wheels done and balanced(will post another thread on that fiasco) Took my brother out in it today and he couldn't stop laughing, what a beast!!!! the facts: 87' 5-spd, 50 k, 18" custom sport designs-9" frt w/7.75" backspacing,10" rear w/8.5" backspacing, motorsports stainless x-over and cats,Carl's mm and stainless rmb. I still need valve cover gasket/check valves done,brake/clutch fluid flush and the time to drive the $$$I-I ittt out of it, like it asks me to every time I start it!

Dean,

my car has the same spots after 22 yrs.
It's suppossed to be like that.
You will have many other items of more significant importance to worry about .

If you tint your windows the "cloudiness" will go away.

Looks great! Black 928's are tough to beat when they're clean and shiny. Love the wheels, too.

Thx to all! Is it me or is it impossible to capture the shear beauty and intimidating presence of these beasts in a picture! This is the third set of pics and every time I see them I am disappointed in the pics versus the real living thing. I guess its like showing pictures from a scuba trip and trying to explain that it looks ten times better in person. djurek, I am deleting the rear wiper-just need to figure out how to cap of studs so that it can be reversed if needed.Ross, I plan on getting windows done just need to find tinter I can trust. I will be posting another thread on prepping and polishing that make it much easier and quicker! On the wheels I am finishing another set(rears are already done 18x10 et65)but the 7.5 fronts that I am polishing are only 5 5/8 backspacing(believe will fit some 944) unless I can find one more 50mm offset center(I have one extra 7.5 et 50) they will be offered here before anywhere else.Thx again for everyones expertise on sharks that I've stolen for the membership fee, this site never stops impressing me! For the wiper delete, I went to NAPA and found they have sets of about eight black vacumn plugs that cover the studs like custom ordered. Once capped they will pretty much disappear on a black car.

Why don't you drive it up to Mundelein and we can get some black and silver pix...? Maybe we can talk Dave McKenzie or Chris Fabri into joining us.

Nice looking car!

Tim
