Default 94 GTS 4 sale 1st descent offer above 25K takes it.

Howdy,

Some of you may know me I have a Supercharged 928GTS. As much as I love this car I will be deploying overseas for some 3 to 4 years and who knows where I will be when I get back.

Although I would like about 35K for the car I have yet to get that offer. So I am in a quandary... I can park the car for 3 or 4 years on the Govts dime or I can give it a new home... I really want to give it a new home.

At the best reasonable price above 25K I am literally giving the car away.

Photos can be found by searching this earlier posting titled:
94 GTS For Sale Twinscrewed reduced $39,500
or at
http://www.928registry.org/
or for serious buyers i will email you photos that I have.
Please PM me.

Chris

The details:
Silver/ black leather interior
1994 GTS/ Automatic
101, 000

Upgrades:
Twinscrwed supercharger system w/intercooler
Supercharged with Andy K Twin screw kit.
Installed by Andy K and Mike Spiegel - to whom I owe much
Recently dynoed- currently making 430 RWHP at 6 PSI
0 Detonation or pinging issues (see maintenance)
w/ Nexus multicolor boost/ vacum gage/controller and
ARM-1 Air fuel ratio meter

New brakepads and new cross drilled rotors less than 2k miles
New Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 less than 1500 miles *fantastic tire*

Alpine A/V Stereo with MP3/DVD capability
-GPS Navigation Unit
-XM Satelite
-6 Disk DVD changer
-Speakers
-Amplifier

Vehicle Maintenance
- Maintinance Documentation start at 35k miles to present
- new tires (see above)
- new rotors and pads (see above)
- timing belt water pump replaced by reeves porsche at 70K
- Tensioner rebuilt by reeves porsche at 70K
- belt retensioned
- New Sekurit Windshild (blemish free)
- leakdown and compression tested several time before S/C
- unlike most normal GTS which ping occasionaly at idle this car
has not pinged once since 2nd tuning
*CA SMOGGED AND TITLED - YES*
-Rear Main seal replaced- no leaks
-AC serviced an recharged

Vehicle Condition
Interior - Unbeliavably Perfect - No scratches or cracks or tears. Switch/lever diagrams are uncanny look unsed.
Boost gage and ARM-1 sit in cavity of Ashtray with matching cover.
Can be removed and ashtray re added with ease.. which I was planning to do
due to low boost and 100% stability of S/C systen not needing monitoring.

Exterior - Almost Unbelivably Perfect - Purchased with small amount of clear coat missing near hood badge... you absoulte need to know its their are be within a 2 feet to see it... paint underneath is blemish free... never got around to getting that taken care of

Amenities to go with car
-100% all original parts available with car to include orginal CD player, amp, speakers, CD changer, mechanicals, etc
-New Floor matts
-New Rear hatch seal (origialy bought for 89 S-4)
-Aftermarket T/B tension tool- works like a charm
-Genuine Porshe Maintenance Manuals (7 volumes I think?)
-Might be 1 or 2 original tools missing from set... I'll have to check they were there when I purchased.

Jeez, that is a steal. I hope you reconsider and pickle the car until you return. This sounds like your pride and joy, and you shouldn't have to give it up just for Uncle sugar. Maybe someone in SoCal or bay area can put it up for you?

What a shame, hope your deployment isn't - well, unpleasant.

I have a better idea!

I will - entirely free of charge - care for the car while you're away!

I will drive it regularly and in a spirited manner - but will not abuse it!

I have a GTS myself. They will become great friends!

If they have any offspring, I will give you first choice of the litter!

Honestly, if you are going away for 3 years, why not park it? yeah, there will be some deferred maintenance and rubbers to replace when you come back but it will not be as much as the amount you loosing to make a quick sale.

That one doesn't need much of anything. Maybe sport seats.
Although I do have some beautiful black Ostrich in stock ....

Hi Chris!,

This is the car I sold you, what, nearly two years ago now? I will vouch for that car that it is an extremely beautiful GTS! Chris, it's unfortunate that all the extra $$$$ you put into it was just money spent. But spent well, I might add. I mean, it was fast in stock form, auzivision will vouch for that!

I can only imagine just how fast that thing is now! Still looks identical though! Either way, best of luck with the sale.

Todd

P.S. $25K is less than he paid me for it!

Todd,

Thanks for the voucher... BTW Nice concourse car on Ebay a week or so ago.

To All

Dave Lomas
has put a down payment on the car and is planning to pick it up in the next two weeks.
Out of the several PMs that I got his had the best offer.
Thank you very much to the others who expressed interest in the car.
