Default Towing and camping with a 928

I was at Greg Brown's a couple of weeks ago and he had an old Porsche accessories catalog. Unfortunately it was in German. I'm not sure what year it was, but it had pictures of S4s with flag mirrors. One of the accessories was a trailer hitch. The picture showed a 928 towing what looked like a 20-25 foot sailboat with keel attached. After seeing this it sparked an interest in using the 928 as a tow viehicle for a teardrop camp trailer. Has anyone done any towing with their car, and is there a nice clean hitch for the 928. Any knowledge about towing with a 928 would be helpful. Here are a couple of trailers I'm looking at.

Looks like a nice tent would have far more room...

Somebody has a picture of their 928 towing their MB 500E on a trailer. I think if it can handle that, a small camper trailer should be no problem.

The teardrop trailers are great, saw a show on all of the amenities, albeit small, but: nice bunk, I think TV in some, sink, oven, stove top, propane tank, storage for stuff, and relatively light and small, yea, matching paint and wheels would be sweet.

Good call.

Maybe do that to a Cayenne.

I like the teardrop trailers. Aesthetically they are pleasing and a low profile. My objection is that it appears you must be outside to prepare a meal or bathe.
Here is an alternative:

These are fiberglas and lightweight, and easily towed by a 928. I see them at Laguna Seca racetrack from time to time. However, they do present some aerodynamic compromises. Here is a photo of the smallest model: (click on the "13FT" icon in the photo on the website for floor plan and spec sheet)

Do a search on Google for the new AirStream BaseCamp or go to http://basecamp.airstream.com . It is badA$$ and perfect match for a 928, high tech, lots of aluminum, innovative design. etc. It does a lot for such a small package, it is also a Toy Hauler and you can load a 4-wheeler or motorcycles, bicycles, etc. inside of it to take camping with you.

Very cool,
Now I have to choose between aesthetics and functionality
