Darien,

yup all suspension mods are from Carl @928 Motorsport. The difference is staggering compared to the oem suspension.
The ride height was kept exactly the same as before. The car was lowerd by the previous owner.
I can still post a pic if you like.

Coil springs "compress" by twisting just like a straight torsion bar twists but when two coils touch that part no longer twists so the spring rate increases on the remaining part of the spring which does twist. . Cut off part of the torsion bar or spring and the shorter length is more resistant to twisting ..higher spring rate so less likely for coils to touch.
