Default Padded Leather Door Armrests

Hello all,

I rarely have time to develop new stuff these days, at least not outside of the confines of current full interior projects.

I designed an integrated door armrest pad with traditional piping a few months ago for a full project.
I showed that one already:

But many of you requested French seams instead of piping and I was able to do just that in my current project.

That gave me the opportunity to fill some of the requests. This is one of them:

Thanks

Paul

Bee-u-tiful!

And all of a sudden my arm rests are shabby looking and totally unexceptable.

I love the French seams, just not the French. I'll have to add this to my grand master wish list. Keep up the good work!

Hacker, no you're not. I completely agree with you about the seats - piping. However, on the armrest, French looks right to me, as on the console, dash and other panels.

Perhaps a pattern cut with NO seams over the inward facing edges would even be better.

Now I can have a more attractive way to hide my pot... I had my shark a month before I realized those open with a storage compartment below.

Wishing I had gone with more leather trim instead of fake wood.

I agree, on the seats is where I prefer the piping, ince two tone look. Problem is I'm dealing with a brown exterior. Really cuts down on color combinations.

Paul,
The french seams look just like I had envisioned. THANKS for doing the door lids/arm rests that way. Can't wait to get them installed - just not in time for Hershey, but I'll get plenty of use out of them on the trip to SITM!!

Cheers, and Thanks again.
