Wow, I just looked at Thule's site. When I enter porsche 928, it has a suggested solution. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your advice!! Andrew, thanks so much for offering to lend me your mounts! It looks like for two bikes it will be expensive, no matter what I do. However, the Thule mounts seem like the best solution on the factory rack ...

So I bought a ski rack off eBay for $30 thinking I'd mod it a little. Item 280105905274 ... Shipping was not quoted at all. I ask the seller for shipping total (the item weighs very little) and I get a quote for $25. I don't think so
