Well,
the day has come! My 87 S4 is finally done! I am picking it up tomorrow afternoon and trailering it back home. Thanks again to Jack Riffle, Chris my mechanic, and, of course everyone who has shared their support and advice (you know who you are).

Not sure about those tranny sounds, but Jack drove the car a few days ago and they just went away! I just hope they decide to stay away...
At any rate, the timing is good because the motor needs to come out of the 79 930. Major oil leaking while on boost. D'oh! Pull the motor just to find out whats up. Now its over to the 930 board for where to go. Imagine auto maybe?

Looks like the shark will get plenty of attention from me. I promise lots of pics tomorrow.
