I had Rob Budd re-do my seats, armrest and parking brake handle. I am very pleased with the results!
Not much else to say... since the pictures say more than I ever could!
Andrew,
Looks GREAT!!

Andrew,
That looks yummy. Love the colors and the great worksmanship... congrats on the restoration.
Paul just finished my steering wheel, and Rob is doing the rest of the interior (Dash, Pod, A Pillars, Glove Box, Center Console, Casette Box, Lower Shelves, Door Panels, Arm Rests, Quarter Panels, Rear Hatch Trim)... and then Dan at Exotic Motorwerks is replacing all the carpet (from 928 Specialists)... can't wait to see my new 928

The steering wheel was done by Paul Champagne before Rob got into the business. Since Rob's shop is about 5 minutes from my work, it was a no brainer to go to Rob for my other leather needs and save on shipping. Those 928 seats aren't light you know...
Here's the thread about my wheel. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum/292743-airbag-steering-wheel-leather-recover.html

It does look really really nice!
I am wondering though, why is it that none of the restored seats that exist look just like they did when they came from the factory? They all look at bit looser (hard to describe) between the pads. What is it that make the factory leather better stretched over seats?

Some seats were tighter than others. I had the Raff option on my car which was for the gathered or loose leather. I's say my seats llok prety damn close to factory, actually better becasue I opted to get rid fo the piping and do a French seam... maybe that's what your eye is picking up?
No, it is the way the leather covers the part of the seat. I have seen many (and owned one) 928's with mint interiors. New seats look newer, and not the same way as stock ones do.
Different looks, not better or worse. I really like your cars interior. I am just curious why noone has managed to get the same finish as factory..
