Old thread I know, but I put one of these JVC units in my '84 Carrera Targa this weekend, along with some new speakers. Finding the speed sensor and parking brake wires was the only tricky part; I didn't bother with the reverse wire as I am not planning on installing a backup camera. Thanks to the original poster for the writeup.

The best part: these JVC units are now only $279 delivered (refurbed) on eBay.
