If I were a dealer and could get that car for 3k I'd have done it Bill ... I'm also still paying for my GTS.

I think hans is referring to one of the previous posts where someone went through the VIN codes, but incorrectly cut and paste a VIN code analysis from another car. That other car was a GT, leading reader to initially believe that what had been found was a GT. But this one, being an 88, is obviously not a GT, and thus has an analog odometer. A follow up post clarified the cut-and-paste error.

but everthing else on Carfax is good.

That is the car-funny how they dont show any pictures. I saw the it inside just before it was going to be detailed and it needs work. I am sure it will look good once the compound the paint but the damage I spoke of will need paint. The Inspection sticker on the window was from January. I didnt see if it was this years but I am pretty sure it is since it is orange and that is 07' sticker color.
