if your status is not updated to Member within a day or so (it is done manually by Admin), send me a PM and I'll get you fixed up.
Good luck with your search.

Or, ask this list or do a search for preferred 928 mechanics and then find the one closest and arrange for a PPI with the shop and seller while the auction is still ongoing.
All are possible, and especially necessary when looking on eBay.

If anyone knows the gentleman, I'd like to get in touch with him ASAP. Can only send "1" email to a seller a day and I've met my quota and clock is running.
Thanks....

the winning bidder is new without any feedback, not the first time those sort of deals fell through.

I saw/drove this car yesterday and it was quite solid, exactly as Dan described. He's is very much an enthusiast who just bought an 89 GT and really knows his stuff. He was guessing that the car would sell for somewhere around $5500 so I would be surprised if the deal he struck was for anything close to the 4k price the auction listing indicates.

Oh, yeah. If the sale doesn't go through (assume it has}. I'd like to hear from him.

Searched the web and located his (likely) Norcal928 club. Tried unsuccessfully to get his contact there. Tried to Track Dan down via his parts source (Devek) who were looking him up based on his VIN number. Of course, all this with only his vehicle description and VIN number; not knowing his name at the time. Devek did identify him and were to call him for me. Whew...
